unable to install licq

hi,
i downloaded licq-1.3.0-1.fc2.i386.rpm for my fedora. During installation i got lots of errors.

Packages not found: libxsso.so.1, libcrypto.so.4,etc..etc...

how can i install these required packages?
thanks

the same way that you're installing that rpm. download them and install. alternatively, look at a package manager like apt or yum which can resolve depencies for you.

IS there a reason you need Licq installed? I use GAIM which houses my AIM and ICQ accounts and works great. It came with Fedora 3.0 and I imagine it would come with all 3 versions. Unless Licq has features not found in GAIM.

i can't get GAIM to work. how to configure it?

There should be a place to setup accounts. All you need is your ICQ number and password. I think it's the same place you would type in your AIM account. GAIM knows it's an ICQ account when you put the number in. Least that's how it worked for me. Should only take a minute to get it running.
