unable to install fedora8 using vmware

i m trying to install fedora 8 using vmware. but i m unable to find iso image for fedora. is there .iso image available for fedora(not cd or dvd)??????????

Don't bother with Fedora 8, as it's no longer supported. Get a newer release instead. Did you look at the Fedora download page? You can find links to get the ISO images there.

As an aside, I don't know what you mean by "not CD or DVD". ISO images are CD or DVD images..

latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on

First of all, please write out words in full. From what you've posted, it looks like your download of the file didn't complete (which is why it ends in ".part"). Also, you've downloaded a Windows executable, which you won't be able to run in Linux. You'll have to let the download finish (or download again) and then run the executable from Windows.

i am dowmload it again and again but it gives same error message every time. now please tell me what to do???????

The file you downloaded is for installing a Ubuntu One-client on Windows, not for installing Windows in a VM on Linux.
