It did load in fallback mode for the install mode on Ubuntu but went into Gnome 3 on the first boot with Ubuntu. When I reinstalled Debian Wheezy on a different 80G drive (HDD not installed in bios) Gnome 3 worked fine but went to fallback mode on first boot. I was ready to proclaim it as a problem but we took a whole house power hit that put us in the dark for a few seconds. When I rebooted everything Gnome 3 was running on the Debian Wheezy machine. I will watch it. I tried UltraVNC with Ubuntu & Debian Wheezy. It works fine, just install to the windows machine & go. It is preinstalled on the Debian & Ubuntu Distros. I will check out the simpler desk tops as a learning exercise. First I must learn how to use Debian Wheezy with Gnome 3. I have not got far enough along to even get Icons on the desktop yet!
Thanks for all the help!
