Unable to install apache2??


I want to install apache2 on newly installed Ubuntu fiesty.My apt-get update is so slow and apt-get install too not working.Can anyone who have downloaded the correct package for ubuntu fiesty help me in this regard????

You could also opt for installing from source. Go to the Apache website (Google is your friend) and download the source and compile and install it. The only downside to installing things from source is not knowing what files are installed where, although this can be fixed by installing a source manager.

If apt-get is slow, have you considered changing the mirrors listed in your /etc/apt/sources.list?
