unable to get to display:0 with RealVNC 4

Hey I am hoping someone can help me here as I have not found anything through Google or reading the docs on the realvnc.com website. Supposedly support for getting to display:0 is now easily supported in RealVNC 4. I have it installed on a RedHat 9 server. I did modify the XF86Config per the instructions on the real VNC website. There was an existing pointer in my services file to use port 5962 from the version 3.3 something that came with RedHat. I type in my address and it prompts for a password but it does not accept anything I enter. I have logged in via telnet and tried to rest the password many times and it still does not work. If I launch vncserver from the telnet session everything work fine. What am I doing wrong? What other information do you need to help fix the problem?

Thanks,
Chris
