"Unable to find device...needed for install

Keep receiving "Unable to find any devices of the type needed for the install process". I had previously installed FC 5 on original machine then transferred files and settings to a new machine with XP installed, tried reloading FC 5 but keep receiving error message. I have tried: a) Fixing the MBR and boot sector of the partition, b) doing a repair install of windows but neither have worked.

Lost

So you are able to successfully boot windows on this machine with the hdd that it has in it? I do not quite understand why you are doing a windows repair?

If you suspect that the hdd might be bad you should download a cd/floppy image from the manufaturers website, boot from it and do a check/scan.

I hope this helps.
