"unable to find a medium containing a live file system" error with reinstallation
I'm Trying to reinstall Linux (any)-- on a two computers that have/are running linux from a USB. When I run an installation disk it stops with a "unable to find a medium containing a live file system" error - on two computers running Mint 19.2 == and this happens with any Linux installation USB
this Acer is running Mint 19.2 from a USB -- but it cannot be installed from a USB iso because of this SAME "unable to find a medium containing a live file system" error -- any advice |
Suggests you aren't creating the USB correctly - how are you doing it. In detail.

the problem was the USB 32GB Sandisk Ultra USB 3.o, I have two of them and neither work for any type of Linux installation. The 64GB Sandisk Ultra Trec works fine... as does my old 32GB 3.0 Samsung USB.
