Unable to connect with Belkin Wireless USB adapter and Debian 5.0

Recently installed Debian Lenny 5.0.3 without difficulty but Belkin card not recognized. How do I get this working.
Belkin Card:
F5D9050 Ver. 3002

You will need to compile the kernel module. You can find it here: http://web.ralinktech.com/ralink/Hom...ort/Linux.html. On this site look for RT2500USB(RT2571/RT2572) (source Code). Your device has this chipset.

Hm, it seems, that the link at ralink website is not working. Try to have a look at google for this file.

Could you verify which chipset is in the device please? Run "/sbin/lsusb" in a terminal (no quotes) and post the output here. If it is indeed a Ralink chipset as maslik suggests, you may not need to find the driver because newer 2.6 kernels already contain support for these devices. Can you also post your kernel version please? To find this run "uname -r" in a terminal.
