Unable to connect to linux through putty
 

Hi all,

i have installed linux on vmware ,but I am unable to ping from other host to that linux machine and unable to connect from putty.I am getting error :network error connection timeout"

Please help me out of this issue.

Looks like you haven't configured your network correctly or you have some form of firewall on either the Linux guest or somewhere else in the network.

My fire wall was disabled.how to move forward. Plz help me out
