unable to connect to internet

I have an internet connection with rogers (wired) I can connect ok with windows but I cannot connect using puppy lucid. setup is asking for username and pass (says ask provider) provider dosent know what this is. does this mean email user and pass or what?

Please open a terminal and look at lspci -nnk output.
00:19.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection [8086:10f5] (rev 03)
        Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device [8086:0000]
        Kernel driver in use: e1000e
Above is example output from my box. Is there a driver in use for your NIC?
