Unable to connect through dial up connection


log generated during connection
the output of /var/log/messages

after login
Can't locate module ppp-compress-21
Peer is not authorized to use remote address (132.22.1.26)
/etc/hotplug/net.agent: NET unregister event not supported

i am using the free ipaddress

Hello

First of all, you need ppp support in your kernel. Check this in make xconfig (e.g.):

<M> PPP (point-to-point protocol) support (CONFIG_PPP)
<M> PPP support for sync tty ports (CONFIG_PPP_SYNC_TTY)
