Question umount:/usr:device is busy error

i have been using rhel AS 4,recently i was installed oracle applications 11i,after dat my system encountered a abnormal shutdown,from dat time i am having this error with another "no more process left in this run level" when i used to shutdown or restart my machine..
pls some one give me solution for dat..
any suggestions i appreciate u..

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

What runlevel are you booting into when you get that error? What do you mean with abnormal shutdown? Power failure? Check if you still have the links to the killall and halt script in the 0 (zero) runlevel. Also, check your log files for errors. The more information you provide the better help you'll get here on LQ.
