Ultrasurf for Nokia N900
I have a Nokia N900 and want to install Ultrasurf to bypass certain sites. I have managed to download the program onto the phone but am unable to install the .exe file
Is this a limitation of linux? When I try to install the file, the N900 message mentions: "Select an application from the list to open file" and then it goes on to list the available programs that exist on the N900. I'm not sure if any existing program on the N900 can help. Perhaps the command prompt program on the N900 - Do you think I could possibly use the "X terminal" and input some comand to execute the .exe file - it reminds me of DOS! Please help! |
Ultrasurf is designed for Windows - you're trying to open a Windows executable on Linux (Maemo 5 on the N900) which is why you're getting the error mentioned in your post.
This is not a limitation of Linux but a limitation of the application. Based on my brief Googling there are alternatives to Ultrasurf for Linux. |
Now that you've pointed me in the right direction - Thanks a ton. :)
