my resolution is huge....how can I fix it?

What distro are you using? Redhat you can type Xconfigurator at the terminal, Mandrake you can use Drakconf you can use Yast for SuSE....and so on...etc. Let us know of your Distro....unless your using one of the one's above I mentioned.
