ubuntu wubi 32bit?

I just installed ubuntu wubi on my older desktop pc. I believe that the download was 64 bit. i believe I need the 32 bit version. How can I check to see if I am in fact using the 64 bit version? Where can I download ubuntu wubi 32 bit version? Ubuntu seems to run a bit slow on this older pc.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Try uname -a in terminal maybe.

Just to find out Ubuntu is 64bit or 32 bit.

Also. If older computer. Lubuntu 32 bit would be your best choice. DistroWatch will show you where 32bit downloads are at.

You can tell if 32 or 64 in windows by going to START right-click on MY COMPUTER select Properties & it will display OS & memory.
Wubi downloads 64-bit by default, but, Wubi can be forced to download 32-bit by following these instructions
