I've looked all over other forums trying to solve my wireless connectivity problem with ubuntu 12.04 but cant find a solution. my connection is recognized but won't connect. yes the password is correct. Things I've tried:

1. Update manager, kernel is up to date.
2. Ndis wrapper
3. checking my chipset for linux support(qualcomm atheros ar9285)
4. at least two others I cant remember.

I feel there is an easy fix for this, but my forum searches have turned up empty. Once I get wireless connectivity my windows days will be behind me. I appreciate any help, cheers.

can you try with unencripted network?

"lspci" will show the type network controller card that you have. That will tell whether or not you will need ndiswrapper or not. please post that!
