What type of modem is it?

Also if you type the following command from the command line

Code:
lsusb
Is it showing up?

Thanks for a quick response,

It's a USB modem mc950d. Works fine in windows but I'd like it to work with Ubuntu srv.
I have done the lsusb command and at least got somewhere here is the output;

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1410:5010 Novatel Wireless
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

I do not know what to do next ...
