Ubuntu software install instructions !


If you're thinking of giving Ubuntu a try, but don't know anything about the "apt" package manager, then here's a link that seems to be quite comprehensive and straight forward, that appeared on Digg

Best place too put this would be in the Ubuntu subforum. I think synaptic is pretty much self-explanatory, but I guess this'll be good for some n00bs.
