Ubuntu repositories

Hi!

I'm using Ubuntu for a while now, but most of the time I want to install something using apt-get, it isn't in my package list. What are good repositories to add to my list, so that I can easily install more packages?
Thanks!

Lex

Have you enabled the "world" or "universe" repository? Check the repository list in Synaptic - it's not enabled by default.

Thanks for your replies! I'm going to take a look to that Unoffical Guide. But I'm not sure if I have the universe or world repositorie enabled. How can I check that?
Thanks!
