UBUNTU ONE Failure

I hope it is ok to ask this here. On my netbook UBUNTU ONE stopped downloading changes about a week ago. At that time I also got a red triangle with an ! in it at the top of my screen. I think it was because my updates were out of sync. Please help. Thank you. Alvin...

Can you post any error messages that appeared during the updating. What version of Ubuntu are you using? If you don't remember the error messages then try updating again and make note of them.

What version are you running?

13.04 hit end of life 27 Jan.

Its ubuntu 12.04 LTS but I upgraded 6 months ago but it still says 12.04 . The red triangle happened after many ubuntu updates. I guess something got out of sync but I am not sure if that is what is causing ubuntu one to not download my file changes made on another computer.

What happens when you try to update from the command line i.e.

sudo apt-get update

It did it very fast as I guess most of the files were already in the computer. It still says UBUNTU 12.04 LTS. No Ubuntu 1 downloads started.
