Hey There,
What email software are you using on ubuntu? (sendmail, qmail, etc) and what the name of the mail server (or relay) that handles mail for your win2k domain?
Best wishes,
Mike

Hey There,
How is telnet directly to your windows mail server working from your ubuntu box.
For instance, try this and post the output that you can:
telnet yourwindowshost 25
HELO whateveryourdomainis.com
RCPT TO: email@address
MAIL FROM: email@address
DATA
.
QUIT
Thanks

Hey Again,
Yes, you'll need to have a mail server listening on port 25 on your win2k server for the telent test to work.
You can use any mail server you want, so whatever's easiest, as long it can accept mail on port 25.
Best wishes,
Mike
