I'm installing from Ubuntu.
Does anyone know of a tool that allows for duel-partitioning a harddrive on Linux?

Quickly...

fdisk is a dos command that allows you do many things with a hard drive prior to installing any operating system. It is also a valuable tool for repairing compromised hard drives. It is a windows tool with many uses,I hope this brief explanation, answers your query.
I would like to hear from Owndapwn how he is progressing with his problem
