Ubuntu hanging on login after editing pam.d
Hi guys,
In the process of trying to make Ubunti authenticate with AD2008, I followed some instructions and edited files as follows:
# /etc/pam.d/common-account
account sufficient pam_winbind.so
account required pam_unix.so
# /etc/pam.d/common-auth
auth sufficient pam_winbind.so
auth required pam_unix.so use_first_pass nullok_secure
# /etc/pam.d/common-session
session required pam_mkhomedir.so skel=/etc/skel/ umask=0066
session sufficient pam_winbind.so
session required pam_unix.so
After doing this I can no longer log in, it just hangs on the brown screen after logging in... it also asks me for my password twice before authenticating?
Any ideas??
