Ubuntu Gutsy: won't boot. error message after boot begins: "metapage_read_end_io: I/o
This error message just repeats endlessly. I had to shutdown with the power supply because Ubuntu was locked up beyond any unlocking and the above is what I get after the boot process begins. The bootsplash starts then I am dropped to a black screen where the error message repeats.
Any ideas ?
