Ubuntu first time install problems (Dualboot)

Greetings!

I am well aware that this question probably has been asked but for some reason i always get a "502 Server Error" when I try to search for similar topics.

Either way.. I am a complete newbie and tried to install Ubuntu on a System with Win10 pre-installed. Since I am not so sure yet I want to be able to DualBoot, so i Installled Ubuntu on a new Partition. But when I reboot, my Laptop (Acer Aspire E15) runs Win10 automatically. Any solutions?

Edit: Debian 9 worked fine (though strangely I had to switch to Legacy Boot to either start Debian or switch to UEFI so it runs Win10); however it was a bit too complicated for me as I couldn't even figure out how to install the right WiFi-Driver on it (which is pretty important); so i switched to Ubuntu as it is said to be a bit simpler.

If you have a UEFI machine, use UEFI to install linux. Presuming you have done that (Ubuntu), you should see it as a boot option when you get into the "BIOS" screens. Most computers have a key to bring up the boot list at power-on; try F9 or F10.
If that all works, just a matter of changing the default boot to Ubuntu, which can be done from the "BIOS" screens or from Ubuntu itself.

I don't see Ubuntu as a boot option sadly. :/

And yes I installed Linux with UEFI.

If you want to dual boot with windows 10, Ubuntu has a site which specifically explains the process, the link below. Also, Acer requires you to set 'trust' to install another OS. Check your Acer BIOS options and your user manual. If you don't have one you should be able to find one online if you search for your specific Acer model manual.
