I am new to Linux and I want to view source code like mozilla but you have to download it and I am very confused with the whole package system please can someone set my mind straight on it.

Not sure about that! Your post isn't clear about what you want. What source code do you want to view? You refer to Mozilla, do you mean viewing source code of an html web page? Do you want to view the source code for the entire Mozilla program? I'd expect you would have to download it if you don't have it now. Where do package systems and Ubuntu fit into all this?

If you only want to see the source code of the Mozilla project, they have it on their website. A quick google search can show you the link to it.

If this is not what you want then as Yancek said before, please be more specific about your question.

I think he means 'View Page Source', which you get if you right click on the content of a web site.
