ubuntu canonical apps

is there some place i can get a cd with all canoncial apps probable a dvd but anyway i ask beacuse i often reinstall my os and redownloading after a fresh install gets to be a pain and more

as another option is there a way to download an entire deb package
what i usually get is a small file that will install a bunch of dependancies

The best thing to do would be to setup a base system that you like, and then take an image of the system using Clonezilla Live.

The other thing you could do is use Apt on CD to create a repository on CD/DVD of all the packages you installed.
