Ubuntu and windows 10 both work together

Can you please explain what you've done? Did you install Ubuntu (which version?) as a dual boot alongside Windows 10?

If so, what is it exactly that's not working?

With a dual boot, you either boot into one operating system or the other, you cannot run both at the same time.

If you want to run the two operating systems at the same time on the same machine, you should look at running either Ubuntu or Windows 10 in a virtual machine instead, hosted by the other operating system.
