Ubuntu 9.04/ Windows 7 Dual Boot Backup Options

I've tried doing a search on this and have come up with nothing. I'm looking for a way to completely back up my system so that I can restore both partitions just in case my hard drive is corrupted. Any help would be great. Also any guidance on creating a windows 7 live cd would be great as well.

Thanks,
ZC

You can clone your entire drive to another (larger) drive using clonezilla. Google clonezilla, read documentation.

No can do live win cd

Micr$oft WILL NOT RUN ON A CD as it has to create a file to swap out mem and that is something you can not do on a cd however to backup win mount win drive in a term tar -cvzf <name of archive> <were win partition is located> one note it will compress and add the tar.gz by it's self and there must be enough room for the file on your home partition.then upload to backup server.

Live CDs are becoming a thing of the past as flash technology improves. It's much easier to carry your live Windows around your neck on a pen drive over a CD/DVD. And it won't scratch easily also. Some advice on "howto" here. And all recently built computers can boot from a USB device.
For backup ideas, there are a couple suggestions here.
