Angry ubuntu 14.04 mail server

Hi All

Please help with is issues. Installed ubuntu server with dovecot,posfix,mysql and squirrelmal.

- Cant login via squirrelmail:connection drop by imap server.
-/var/log/mail.err : dovecot auth fatal unkwon connetion string
dovecot master service(auth)command startup failed.

Telneting to port 143 i get: Bye disconnected: auth process broken or connection closed by foreign host.
