MB: Asus EM45m1-I Deluxe
Ubuntu v 12.04
XBMC 11.10
is the some one who has the time to explain me, how to get this working, ive seen my build being used in different forums, so it should work.
Djjomes,
if you have a gui from some display mechanisum then you could search the synaptic package manager for solutions, try HDMI drivers ,and, or, daemons. Synaptic is not installed by default on 12.04 but can be easily installed from the software manager or apt-get.
As I can see there is an AMD APU on that motherboard. Those are currently not very well supported by the free radeon drivers that are installed by default on Ubuntu 12.04 (especially sound over HDMI). I would recommend to use the "Additional Drivers" (should be in your system settings) program to activate the proprietary AMD drivers, then use the Catalyst Control Center to configure display and sound.
