Ubuntu 11.10 Cannot Mount CASPERFS (filesystem)

I know that this means that the computer I am running Ubuntu 11.10 does not have enough RAM to mount the base installation. Does anybody know how to fix this problem without having to download alternate download?

Double check the system requirements to install the OS, if you don't have enough RAM to install/run the distro you can either download a distro that is less resource intensive or install more RAM into the machine.

Ubuntu 11.10 requires 384 MB of RAM.
Debian 6 requires 128 MB of RAM.

RAM sticks come in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, etc... sizes.

If you have not enough RAM there is only one way to do the installation without the alternate CD: Buy more RAM. No work around.
