Ubuntu 10.4 sudo password
When I installed Ubuntu 10.04 I set myself as the only user. The rights were assigned as "custom" instead of "admin" Now I need to setup a sudo password but cannot change or add anything in user settings.
I have been acting like a kid in a candy store and have installed and configured a vast amount of great software programs and tools, so I hope that I don't have to do a re-install.

You do not need to set up an sudo password. The password for sudo is the password for your normal user account.

If it does not work try
sudo su enter
and than you're own password made during install
