Ubuntu 10.10

I downloaded Ubuntu 10.10 a day or so ago to run alongside my Windows Vista and I downloaded a driver that made my screen to big and so i redownloaded Ubuntu again with the same procedure and now when I start up my PC I only have 4 options of Ubuntu to choose from and my Windows Vista is not one of them. Did I lose my WV? How do I get IT back? Thank you, Jim

When in ubuntu go to "Places" and you should see you Windows drive there.

If you can then all is well. Just run Update-Grub

If you can't see it in Places then you may have selected "use entire drive" when installing Ubuntu. In this case... your fuXxored !!

Places

Selecting it shows it's my
Windows drive

He'll have to do "os-prober" then do "update-grub", well atleast that's how I've done it lately.
