Two linux distro on one USB flash drive
 

Hi all. I have some questions...
I divided my usb flash in some partitions. First partition I use for documents(FAT32), second is Ubuntu LiveCD(EXT2) and third is truecrypt volume. Ubuntu LiveCD image I wrote with soft Unetbootin and everything is working fine. Now I want make fourth partition and and install OpenBSD. I do not know if it is possible at all? And how can I setup GRUB or other boot loader that during loading choose witch partition(respectively OS) to boot - Ubuntu LiveCD or OpenBSD?
And the second question - can I use OpenBSD filesystem on USB or it's journaling filesystem like EXT3/4 and not recomended use it on USB drive?

Almost any modern linux or bsd can be installed to a usb just as if it were a common hard drive. You do have me confused a bit on the unetbootin on ext2. This may have to be cleared up before anyone can guess how to get this working as a real install. Some of the bsd's may allow one to be installed using other pendrivelinux.com tricks in a not real install.

I try to use non-journaling when I install to flash more because of limits on usb speed. I try to keep swap off also. Not sure I could prove it but usb flash drives are not dependable in my opinion.

As an alternative you might want to try this.
You can boot from multiple isos, note they don't need to be just Linux ones, any bootable iso can be added including recovery and diagnostic ones.
