TV-Out mandrake 9.2

Hi!

I'm using Mandrake 9.2 and run it on a Toshiba Laptop with a Trident Cyberblade graphics card, I have no clue whatsoever how to enable tv-out.

Do I need som kind of special software (Package) or is it just some option I've managed to overlook?

I've read the mandrake docs, searched google and searched this forum but I don't ge any wiser .

Your help is most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!!

You've to first install the "official" drivers for your card. If there's no official, the generic drivers most likely won't give you TV-out function. In my nvidia Geforce graphics card, using nvidia drivers, to enable TV-out is a simple matter of editing the XFree86 adding a few lines to it and I'm way to go :).
Check the docs of your graphics card and if they provide drivers for Linux ;)

Good luck!
