Question Tv-Out is not centered

Hi, I am relatively new to using Linux, I am using SuSE 9.0 I have Mplayer compiled and I have the newest Nvidia driver install, and I finally got the video out to work after altering the xconfig file. But the display that I have on my television is not centered so whenever I try to play a movie in Mplayer it only shows part of the screen, the only resolution that I can get the tv-out to work with is 800x600. I have tried everything that I can think of and would really appreciate some help. If you can post a reply to this post that would be great. Thanks.

I read about a program called nvoption that sets and controlls tvout options for nvidia cards.
