TV-OUT color problem

Hi Guys, I got a Savage 3D on a P3 450 MHz, a good machien that I want to trasform in a DVD-DivX Box Player. I tried with win98 because I could find the video card driver on www.driver-guide.com and just in Winzoz (:-)) I found this problem, by default the S3 exit in NTSC way and my TV show a black and white output. Modifing video configurations I found that I can see color setting PAL output. But in windows when I reboot the machine the S3 returned to eit in NTSC.
So I try to configure Slackware 9.1. I found the way to set XFree86 to exit in PAL but the image is very blured and the chars and jammed: it's quite impossible to read...
Using MyTV I was able to set a good framebuffer, but the problem is that there aren't colors. Some one can help me? There is a good howto about this problem?
Thanks for the attention and sorry for my english. :-)
