TUX Racer runs poorly..

I am wondering why my Tux Racer game runs so slowly that its not playable.

Not that I really care about Tux Racer, I'm just wondering why the 3D graphics are not working right.

I have 1GIG AMD, 256MB RAM, Nvidia GeForce 2MX 64MB
Red Hat 8.0

The card is now using Nvidia GeForce 2MX generic drivers.
Should I DL the drivers from Nvidia? Or is there something else I can check?

Hi funkenbooty!!!

Yeah, the way to fix it is downloading and installing the official drivers. The generic drivers do not provide you with truly 3D support neither with TV-Out.
After getting it to install though, you will be surprised with speed you can get with nvidia and 3D games... Return to Castle Wolfenstein is so smooth you won't believe.
You can get the drivers here:

www.nvidia.com

They are pretty easy to install. Search the forum with the search button about installing Nvidia drivers. Should not be to hard...
Good Luck
