Turning off disk check on boot
 

Is it possible to temporarily turn off disk checking when linux first boots? Distro is Fedora Core 5.

Boot your computer and type "man shutdown".

You'll see a line "-f Skip fsck on reboot." Use that.

sudo shutdown -f now
