Trying to setup built-in wifi NIC using BT-5RS

Hey all,

I'm new to this forum and very new to Linux. have installed BT5RS2 on a VM(Using VirtualBox) and have my network card set up as a bridged adapter. So I'm able to browse the web and gain access to WIFI AP's provided my host machine is connected to the AP>

Most people would be happy with this however I am experimenting with/starting out on doing some pentesting (Yes it's legal I am using my own environment for the testing) and thus need to be able to view wireless network using my VM install without it going through my host machine.

Any ideas?
Thanks all

Install Backtrack natively, not in a VM. Unless your Wifi adapter is USB your VM will not be able to let the Backtrack system see the actual hardware.
