Trying to run ntopng

Hi,

I'm trying to run ntopng. I compiled it following these instructions http://www.ntop.org/get-started/download/

autogen.sh, configure, make, make install

Now to be honest, I've no idea where the executable is placed, and it clearly isn't in any of the default locations.

Any ideas where I can read this information to see exactly where it places the executable files?
I did come across /usr/local/bin/ndpiReader, but that's not what I'm looking for. On their site at least it says that I should run ntopng so that it starts running as a http instance.

If you look at the makefile for install in directory you did all your commands it will probably tell you where it put the binaries when done.

Shouldn't the make install be done as sudo? Or is this on a distro where you're already root?

Also agree with MensaWater, but would add that you can read the Makefile and the install section should give you info about what it's doing and where it's putting the binaries.

Of course, that will only work if it was installed in a directory in $PATH...but if it was...
