Question trying to read, getting weird error???


hey....
I'm trying to install amarok
i've dl it and untar'ed it and try to find info on how to install it....
when i try to open a file called INSTALL it says "please use KDE controlmodule and configure vim" ???
what's that about??

anyone got a tip on how to install??

Just open the INSTALL file with a text editor. If you've downloaded the source tarball, you're going to need to work on the command line, so you might as well view it from there - try "less INSTALL" in the right directory.

oki in rxvt-console i could read it...
not much help though...

does anyone have any experience with installing amarok..
or any app able to play shoutcast streams for that matter??
