Trying to patch the Meego Kernel.

Hi there, hopefully this is in the correct place. I'm having no luck trying to apply this Kernel patch to Meego 1.2 (Running Linux Kernel version 2.6.37) I want to apply the first patch featured here on this page:

How do I go about patching this file into the Kernel?

Generally you build some kernel from source and use the patch in part of the compile process. You may have other tools to build that in but I have not seen it done that way. Git or other tools.

Most users can find a patched kernel and use it.

I managed to get to the stage where it asks me which files I wish to patch, it's just I don't know which files I should patch in the first place. :S
