Trying to install software in a headless linux box, instructions only show gui

Hi

I am trying to install SoapUI, the instructions only show me a GUI based option - http://www.soapui.org/Getting-Starte...linuxunix.html

What would be my best bet to get it installed in the headless environment, I just want it installed, so I can run some of my soapui scripts commandline. There is a bash script for this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do any of the links on this page help? It seems like SoapUI is a GUI tool with limited ability to run from the command line, so even if you get it installed, you might have trouble accessing all functionality. I suppose if it absolutely must run in graphical mode, you'll have to set up X11 forwarding to the server (the "-X" or "-Y" flags to the ssh command), and then you'll be able to see the graphical display on your local Linux desktop.

If you need more help than this, it would be good to tell us which Linux distros you are running both on the server and your local workstation. Are there SoapUI packages for these distros available?

They do help. I can run it command line on my osx machine without issue via a bash file (testrunner.sh). I am using CentOS 6.4. I am trying to install it on the ci box. Some of those link do help. Though, I am not sure how to get soapui on there to be able to run it. I may have to do the X11 forwarding, will look into it.

Thanks.
