trying to install on a chromebook

I have an acer R11 which I want to install popcorn time on, I have managed to get Linux working it but I cant seem to install popcorntime, I have read these threads..

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=103564
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=45094

Not sure whether I should be doing it in a shell on the chrome browser or log into a Linux session and do it from there, the problem is that the key mappings are different in a Linux terminal than they are in the chrome browser terminal, has anyone managed to install popcorn time on this and can give me a little walk through ?

Thanks.

loady,

I assume that you have done this:
http://www.howtogeek.com/162120/how-...-with-crouton/

Then open a Terminal in Linux and follow this to install popcorn time:

yes crouton is installed, looks different to your setup. I start mine by typing sudo startxfce -X xorg.

I have downloaded the file and extracted it by there is no install file once its extracted.

my Linux distro is trusty
