trying to install LibreOffice Linux - deb (x86), version 3.5.6, English (US).
trying to install LibreOffice Linux - deb (x86), version 3.5.6, English (US). Downloads OK but when I double click on the downloaded file it brings up a window saying launch application which does not contain LibreOffice. What do I do now?
Its always easier to install libre office using ppa .Look after the link add the ppa to repository and update the repo,and install package using repository
Did you follow the installation instructions from the website to decompress the *.deb file, navigate to the appropriate subdirectories of the decompressed contents, and install the software using the dpkg -i *.deb command as root?
