Trying to install and...
I'm trying to install on an old Presario 7170 with a P-90 chip in it...
Problem is that every time I boot up a Red Hat boot floppy (either regular or network doesn't matter) I get a kernel panic from no init. Catch is that I don't have a machine that I can read the disk from but it boots just fine...does ANYONE have a suggestion? I would really like to get this thing running so I can play and learn Linux here but this is the only box I can put it on since I can't afford any others. Any help would be appreciated.
