trying to install a wireless card on an ibm thinkpad 600


recently installed slackware 10.0, i got X working, so i have graphics! . But, my network card, its a Encore Wireless Serial number ENPWI-G-RLAM. i can't get it to work, in fact, i have no idea on how to install pcmcia, maybe i screwed up on the install and forgot to install a package for pcmcia, because i do remember installing the wireless utilities package. help very much apreciated.
