trying to get windows based cursor on ubuntu 10.10

ive been trying for months now to get this cursor i have to be he cursor i use as opposed to this old and dated white arrow (its the master sword from the legend of zelda)...i converted it from its initial .cur file to a .png my only issue is setting it....any help?
